Polka Dot Tumbler

I've been in love with the ceramics of etsy seller Nathan William for ages. His store Hijacked Ceramics always features beautiful objects with wonderfully unique glazes. They remind me of the beauty you can find in urban decay. This polka dot tumbler is awesome and only $25. I'm determined to own one of his sugar cannisters one day.

Float Tea Lantern

I have a bad habit of buying cool pitchers and tea pots and carafes and then never actually using them. Any time now I will probably buy this gorgeous tea lantern from Molo, but really this time I swear I'll use it. And if not, well it's like a piece of art right? $199 at Velocity Art and Design.

Purple rubber dish gloves

Doing the dishes is never much fun, especially when you're like me and don't have a dishwasher. The dish gloves from BasicFrench online at least let you finish your chores while pretending you're a mad scientist plotting world domination instead of getting that stubborn stuck on egg off your plates. $9 a pair.

Salt-chan enameled canister

If there's one place where I have an addiction to cute and quirky items, it's the kitchen. This enamaled canister from Aranzi is not only adorable it has a nice retro feel. Sugar-chan with a smiling face is also nice. 1,300 Yen (about $11)
