Redwoods Tote
I really love Jill Bliss' illustrations. I'll be buying my wall calendar from Blissen again this year, and I'm not much of a totebag person, but this might make me one. I'd better heurry and decide though because these limited edition totes probably won't last long $36 at Blissen

Double Flask
Cooler weather and that perfect recipe for greek lemon orzo soup means I'm bringing the thermos for lunch more often. This ingenious double sided thermos means you don't have to drag around one thermos for tea and another for a lunch full of soupy goodness. £20 at Lakeland Limited

pom-pom umbrella
It's proper autumn now. Rain, Rain and more rain. (ok so that's not proper autumn for where I live now, but it's proper autumn back in Boston.) So here's a cute umbrella at pareumbrella $53

ghost salt and pepper shakers
All the grocers near me have had their halloween aisles stocked to bursting for the last month. When did the Halloween season get longer than the buildup to xmas? Halloween is, however, my absolute favourite holiday and these Marcel Dzama salt and pepper cellars would be a perfect way to celebrate the saeson whilst eating dinner. $50 at velocity art and design
magnolia necklace
Who'd have thought shrinky-dinks could be put to such good use back when we were making holiday ornaments with them in grammar school? This lovely necklace is hand drawn. $145 at we dream in colour

Purple rubber dish gloves
Doing the dishes is never much fun, especially when you're like me and don't have a dishwasher. The dish gloves from BasicFrench online at least let you finish your chores while pretending you're a mad scientist plotting world domination instead of getting that stubborn stuck on egg off your plates. $9 a pair.
Salt-chan enameled canister
If there's one place where I have an addiction to cute and quirky items, it's the kitchen. This enamaled canister from Aranzi is not only adorable it has a nice retro feel. Sugar-chan with a smiling face is also nice. 1,300 Yen (about $11)
Eclectica vintage and estate jewelry
This vintage 1940s bracelet is $44, but I'm here to talk more about the shop, eclectica, which is one of my favourites for vintage, unique estate jewelry items. I first discovered it during my pop-bead mania, but on top of having a great selection of pop-beads, they've also got a really fabulous array of all kinds of vintage treasures.

circuitboard luggage tags
Now that travel woes mean you've a 50% chance of your bags sitting in a pile of 10,000 in the back of Heathrow, don't go for those boring, samey-samey paper tags the airlines give out. Opt instead for these stylish tags made from recycyled electronic circuitboards from fractal spin $4 each.
Three's a Crowd print
I really can't wait to finish this overseas move so I can start buying some art again. This adorable and really great print by Ashley Goldberg would make an excellent wall embellisher. $28 available at Pixelgirl shop
Natalie Wristlet
I love the idea of restricting all the junk I lug around in my handbag to the bare necessities. Maybe if I had enough cute small clutches I'd get on top of that. $59 at India*Romeo
